Friday June 26 - Inn at Laurel Point

Bonzur Alfrescoes, This Friday, June 26, 2020, we are painting at the Inn at Laurel Point, a new location for us (map  here ).

The Inn is allowing us to paint from their interior courtyard (see map), which is accessed by walking through the hotel from the front entrance.

The hotel only asks two things:
1) please wait until 09:00am before arriving, and
2) do not attempt to walk from the Interior Courtyard to the outer walkway.

The Inner Courtyard may fill up with painters, therefore, to maintain social distancing, you can paint from the surrounding park, accessible from the path around the exterior of the hotel.

The hotel is also allowing us to use their underground parking (see map for entrance location), and at the moment, there will be no charge for us to use this parking.

Everyone should continue observing social distancing rules, remaining at least 2m apart from others.

For now, there will NOT be a Show'n'Tell at Noon. If you wish, you can take a picture of your own work and send the image file to Ron Wilson, who has offered to post your work. Here are his instructions:
  • send JPGs only on Friday afternoons between noon to 5 pm
  • email to ronjbw@gmail.com
  • the images should be cropped and reduced to 800 pixels on the longest edge, and 72dpi.
Ron can publish between 10 and 20 such images weekly.

Remember, we cannot control the public, who may wish to approach you without you noticing. Therefore, this is at your own risk, and you can choose not to participate. The COVID-19 virus remains a serious public heath issue. If you require further information on how to keep yourself and others safe, please visit the BC governments' website.
