Friday August 27 - Canoe Brew Pub

Dobrý den Alfrescoes. This Friday August 27 2021, we will be painting at the end of Swift Street, behind the Canoe Brew Pub (map  here ).  We will meet along the waterfront walkway at Noon for our Show'n'Tell.


Remember that we are still in the midst of a pandemic. Everyone should continue observing social distancing rules, remaining at least 2m apart from others. Masks are still encouraged when in a group.


If you wish, you can take a picture of your own work and send the image file as follows:

  • send JPGs only on Friday afternoons between noon to 4:00 pm
  • email to thealfrescoes@gmail.com
  • the images should be cropped and reduced to 1024 pixels on the longest edge, and 72dpi.
  • between 10 and 20 such images can be published weekly.
Remember, we cannot control the public, who may wish to approach you without you noticing. Therefore, this is at your own risk, and you can choose not to participate. Friday August 20 - Frank Mitchell's Farm

Kamosta Alfrescoes. This Friday August 20 2021, we will be painting at Frank Mitchell's farm in Metchosin. The address is 530 Witty Beach Road (map  here ). As usual, please park in the field past the house, and ensure that you close any gates after going through them. The Noon Show’n’tell will be at the house.

Friday August 13 - Cattle Point

Míyaxwe Alfrescoes. This Friday August 13 2021, we are painting at Cattle Point, off Beach Drive (click  here  for map). We will meet at Noon in the main parking lot for our Show'n'Tell.

NOTICE: After painting, we are having a Thank You celebration for Ron Wilson for all his hard work and dedication for maintaining the Alfrescoes website all these years.  Bring your lunch, cake will be provided. Remember, we are still social distancing, so no hugging and kissing Ron. 😀

Friday August 6 - Saxe Point Park

Sho'daache Alfrescoes! This Friday August 6, 2021, we are painting at Saxe Point Park in Esquimalt. Directions to Saxe Point can be found  here We'll meet near the parking lot at Noon for our Show'n'Tell.


NOTICE: We are resuming the Show'n'Tell at Noon. The province has begun relaxing some Covid-19 restrictions, and gatherings of up to 50 people at a park or beach are now allowed.
