Sales Opportunity: Stillmeadow Farm, (which runs the farm), plans to purchase paintings of their pigs to be lent on a rotating basis to butchers and restaurants for promotion and simulating conversations with customers. They hope to buy 4 pictures (initially), for up to $150 each (watercolours, pastels or works on paper should be framed). Interested artists are invited to send photos of their work (with names of artist, title (if any), size and medium and surface (board, canvas, paper etc.) to: tomhenry@smallfarmcanada.ca.
Notice: Alfrescoes Christmas Potluck
Our Christmas Potluck this year will be on Friday, December 13 2019, and it will be hosted by Gwen and Bob Langford (478 Viaduct Ave). We will be painting at Viaduct Flats that day, which is just down the street from Gwen and Bob's. The Potluck will begin after painting around 12:00 to 12:30. Bring something yummy to share with the group. All are welcome including spouses etc. New members are especially welcome so we can get to know everyone better. There is a possibility of doing a photo book of the group that day as well.
