Friday September 29 - Hatley Park Gardens

Salvete Alfrescoes! On Friday September 29 2023, we will returning to the Hatley Park Gardens, located in Colwood on the Royal Roads University (RRU) grounds. It is a bit of a walk up to the Main Entrance of gardens (see map) from the parking lot.

A map to the location can be found by clicking  here . There is no charge to visit the gardens themselves but pay parking is in effect in all RRU parking lots and is $1/hour. We'll meet in front of the parking area, under the big tree (see map) at Noon for our Show'n'Tell.


If you wish, you can take a picture of your own work and send the image file as follows:

  • send JPGs only on Friday afternoons between noon to 4:00 pm
  • email to thealfrescoes@gmail.com
  • between 10 and 20 such images can be published weekly.

Friday September 22 - Michell's Farm

Sába̖ai-di̖i Alfrescoes. We are painting at Michell's Farm Market this week, Friday September 22 2023.

Avoid using the front parking lot of Michell's Farm Market Store as this could inconvenience their customers. There is also parking along the road. Please don't park in any of the farm fields as it could cause damage. A map of the location can be found  here We will meet behind the market at Noon for our Show'n'Tell.

Friday September 15 - Beacon Hill Park

Hau Alfrescoes! This Friday September 15 2023, we are returning to Beacon Hill Park (directions  here ). A full map of the park can be viewed here. Washrooms can be found along Bridge Way. We will meet (for our Show'n'Tell) at Noon in the parking lot at the corner of Beacon Hill Loop and Circle Drive (red circle in image below).

Friday September 9 - McMorran Park

Salamatsyzdarby Alfrescoes! This Friday September 9 2023, we will be painting at McMorran Park along Cordova Bay Road in Saanich. Park and beach access is south of the Beach House Restaurant (closed apparently, as of August 2023). Directions to this location is found  here . You can park in the lot opposite the park (see map). We will meet at Noon for our Show'n'Tell on the beach in front of the park.
