Friday September 30 - Oak Bay Marina

Ekọm do Alfrescoes. This Friday September 30 2022, we will be heading to the Oak Bay Marina (map  here ). We will meet at noon in Queens Park for our Show'n'Tell.


If you wish, you can take a picture of your own work and send the image file as follows:

Friday September 23 - Whitehead Park, Prospect Lake

Kuzu zangpo la Alfrescoes! This Friday September 23 2022, we will be painting at Whitehead Park, at the north end of Prospect Lake (map  here ). Parking is available along Prospect Lake Road and also off Goward Road. We'll meet at the Prospect Lake Road parking area at Noon for our Show'n'Tell.

Notice

This is an open invitation to artists of all experience. Beginning September 20th, 2022, join us Tuesday mornings from 10 to noon for an opportunity to draw the human figure from live models. Portrait artists are encouraged to join in. Instruction will not be provided. Models are nude.

Sessions will be held in the upstairs DIY Studio at the Metchosin Arts and Cultural Centre. The room holds 20 artists plus model, first come, first served. Sorry, this room is not wheelchair accessible.

Cost is $10 per session, payable in cash on the day(s) you attend.

Friday September 16 - Albert Head Lagoon

ʔux̣ʷaƛak Alfrescoes. This Friday, September 16 2022, we will be painting at Albert Head Lagoon Regional Park. Directions to this location can be found by clicking  here . Parking is at the end of Delgada Road. We will meet near the parking lot at Noon for our Show'n'Tell.


Remember that we are still in the midst of a pandemic. Everyone should continue observing social distancing rules, remaining at least 2m apart from others. Masks are still encouraged when in a group.

Misawa Alfrescoes! On Friday September 9 2022, we will be painting at Hamsterly Beach on Elk Lake. Hamsterly Beach is located on the northeast corner of the lake. Parking is along Hamsterly Road. A map to the location can be found by clicking  here . We'll meet along the beach parking area, across from the Capital Cat Clinic at Noon for our Show'n'Tell.
