Upcoming Event - AlFrescoes 2017 Show

The AlFrescoes 2017 show will be held at the Coast Collective Gallery, from June 14 to June 25, 2017

- Volunteers (to be determined at a later date) are to arrive at the show on Monday June 12 at 8:30am

- Painting Drop-Off will occur on Monday June 12 between 9:00 and 10:00

- Paintings will be hung on Monday June 12, between 10:00 and 11:00

- Opening reception is on Saturday June 17 between 1:00 and 3:00

- After the show, Artists will pick up their paintings on Sunday June 25 between 5:00 and 5:30

What art can be entered into the show?

Each artist can enter 2 paintings into the show. To qualify, the artist must have painted once with the AlFrescoes during the last year and half (i.e. since Jan 2016). The paintings being enter must be Plein Air paintings but they do not have to be painted with the AlFrescoes.

The Coast Collective takes a 30% Commission on sales.

Friday April 21 - St Mary the Virgin Anglican Church Metchosin

Ezender Alfrescoes! This Friday April 21 2017, we will be painting on the grounds of the historic St Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, in Metchosin.

Directions to the location can be found  here . We'll meet at Noon for our Show'n'Tell on the church grounds.

Friday April 14 - Chinatown

Grias di wohl Alfrescoes. This Friday April 14 2017, we are painting in the area around Capital Iron and Chinatown. A map can be found  here . We will have our Show'n'Tell at Noon by Opus.

Friday April 7 - Ross Bay

Aang Alfrescoes! This Friday April 7 2017, we will be painting at Ross Bay (directions  here ). The Ross Bay Cemetery is here with some lovely monuments, paths, trees, etc. We also have access to the shoreline across Dallas Road. We'll meet for our Show'n'Tell at Noon near the Cemetery washroom area at the corner of Dallas Road and Memorial Crescent. See you there.
