Friday January 29 - Beacon Hill Park

Greetings Alfrescoes! This Friday January 29 2016, we will be painting at Beacon Hill Park (map  here  ). A full map of the park can be viewed here. Washrooms can be found along Bridge Way.

We will meet (for our Show'n'Tell) at Noon in the parking lot at the corner of Beacon Hill Loop and Circle Drive (red circle in image below).

Friday January 22 - Finnerty Gardens

Howdy Alfrescoes! Finnerty Gardens (University of Victoria) is our destination for Friday January 22 2016 (map  here ).

UofVic parking Lot 6 is the closest to the gardens and is $1.25/hour. This website provides more information about Lot 6 and Finnerty Gardens. We will have a "very brief" Show'n'Tell at Noon near the entrance to the gardens.

Following our painting Show'n'Tell on Jan 22, Jean Oliver has organized a talk on Clouds, which is being presented by Edward Wiebe. The talk is scheduled for 1:00pm at the Bob Wright Centre (on campus) in room A307. The best parking for this is across the street from the Bob Wright Centre, in Parking Lot 1.




Please note that Diane Makin's Chili lunch has been postponed for another time.

Friday January 15 - Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse

Dabrydzien Alfrescoes. On Friday January 15 2016, our paint out location will be Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Light House. The location opens at 10:00 so it is a later start than usual. There is currently no entry fee since it's the slow season, and parking is free. Let's hope the weather is good. A map for the location can be found  here We'll meet towards the entrance at Noon for our Show'n'Tell.

Next Friday January 22 2016, we will be painting at Finnerty Gardens on the UofVic campus. Following painting on Jan 22, Jean Oliver has organized a talk on Clouds, which is being presented by Edward Wiebe. The talk is scheduled for 1:00pm. Details to follow.

Friday January 8 - Elk Lake Hamsterly Beach

Zdravo Alfrescoes! On Friday January 8 2016, we will be painting at Hamsterly Beach on Elk Lake. Hamsterly Beach is located on the northeast corner of the lake. Parking is along Hamsterly Road. A map to the location can be found by clicking  here . We'll meet along the beach parking area, across from the Capital Cat Clinic at Noon for our Show'n'Tell.
