March 29th 2013 Tower Point Metchosin

Hello Everyone,
This Friday April 29th we'll paint at Tower Point. Here's Jim's directions to get there:

Tower Point is part of the Witty's Lagoon Park.  Tower Point is immediately east of Witty's beach.  To get to Tower Point travel out Metchosin Rd, at the Boys and Girls Farm were we have painted in the past turn left on to Duke Road.  From Duke road turn right on to Olympic View Drive.  You will come to the parking lot for Tower Point.   From the parking lot it is a short walk to the park, were there are a number of places that you can paint.

March 22 2013 Frank Mitchells Farm

Hello Alfrescoes, Our next paint out will be at Frank Mitchell's farm in Metchosin. There's parking and facilities and everyone is welcome.   Last time it poured so Alfs painted in the barn. Let's hope for sunshine this time. The address is 530 Witty Beach Road. Map  Please remember to close gates behind you so the animals don't wander.

If you were a friend of the late Victoria artist Frank Lewis you may want to attend his memorial after your paint out. The memorial is at 2pm. More information:

Friday March 15, 2013 Back to Gonzales Beach Park

Hi Alfrescoes, It's back to Gonzales Beach Park. Click on last weeks link to get more information about this spot.

There are only a handful of spots left for the Alfs April show. If you want to participate call the Coast Collective.

Our shows are really fun and non competitive usually. However, this time there's a chance to win $100 to artist who gets the most votes. So invite all your friends.

Friday, March 8th, 2013. Gonzales Beach Park

Hi Alfrescoes, This Friday let's meet at Gonzales Beach Park.  It's quite accessible and there's washrooms, and some parking. And Dogs are permitted. Here's a link: Gonzales Beach Let's meet at the top of the stairs at noon to show our paintings.
