Hi Alfrescoes, the next paint out location will be June 29th at Witty's Lagoon. There are two entrances one has a long staircase and the other doesn't but it's a long walk to the beach. Let's gather where most of the painters are and allow for two gathering places if it's practical.
Also, be very careful not to park illegally. I've read that they will tow cars parked illegally near Witty's. Here's a link with information about Witty's Lagoon Park with directions how to get there and even which buses to take for those using public transportation. Witty's Lagoon Park
This location is on that map of Emily Carr's favourite painting locations.
The AlFrescoes are a group of artists who meet every Friday morning, rain or shine, somewhere around Victoria BC. We show up to paint around 9am and gather at noon to show each other our paintings (optional). There are no membership requirements, no fees, and minimal organization. Everyone is welcome to join in on the paint outs. If you wish to receive the next posting in your email please Follow by Email. Otherwise just check here for our next location.

Durrance Lake: un unmanicured Park with parking lot and bathrooms. A real typical west coast scenerio. Only one building -the bathroom. Lots of foliage, water, stumps, moss, rocks and cars in parking lot in hearily forested area. It is a lovely 25-30 minute walk around the lake on a rustic path. About 20-25 minutes out of Victoria (not as long as Woodwyn Farms)
