This park is part of the larger Shoal Harbour area. The Alfrescoes have been invited to paint images of the Shoal Harbour area, to call attention to its unique characteristics and its value as a migratory bird sanctuary. For those who are interested, there is an opportunity to display works of this area at a public symposium at the Mary Winspear Centre on October 19, 2013.
